Scope

This workshop brings together European researchers active in advanced scanning probe microscopy including: spin-polarized STM, nano-optical antennas, video-rate STM, nano-magnetic probes, field enhanced NSOM, atomic manipulation, smart probes, etc. The program includes 10 international invited talks, presented by researchers from leading labs and contributions from ASPRINT consortium. A poster session will take place in the evening of 18 May.

There is no workshop fee. However, non-ASPRINT participants will have to pay hotel and lunch/dinner orrangements. For interested attendees who want to contribute here is a price estimation:
- hotel costs of 90 euro/night
- lunch costs of 26 euro/lunch.
An attendee could be present for ~230 Euro all in, which is a price for two days workshop + hotel + food.

You are kindly invited to submit your abstract for ASPRINT Workshop poster session.

You can download an abstract template in "doc" format.

Please, send your abstracts as attached file to Mrs. Riki Gommers at email above. Use subject: Abstracts_Barcelona.

The deadline for the abstract submission is April 15, 2006

Travelling information

Information about transport and hotel location is placed here. For the people coming from the airport, it is recommended to take a cab (approx. 20 euros) as the public transport connection is not very good.
